Dear Mr. and Mrs.,
Dear Sensei, members of OGKK, and all OGKK friends.
I sincerely hope all of you are in good health.
In this dificult moment all the world is going through, I was asked to inform you, and this is with my deepest sadness, but this is something very importante to protect us all.
Yesterday, after a conversation with Jesus Sensei, who is OGKK Europe secretary, passed me the concerns of our OGKK leaders, Sensei Teruya, Sensei Onaga, Sensei Muramatsu, that the best thing is to cancel this event that all of us where waiting for, due to health issues of us all.
We are all awared about the repercussions of this decision, so I ask your kindness to understand this hard decision, but we think is the more wise thing to do, concerning this pandemic of COVID-19.
Aware of the repercussions of this decision on many people lifes, who purchase flights and/or booked hotels, in relation to this event, we advice to make use of this letter to contact those companies and ask for a refund. So we sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience caused.
This is a fact that is already affecting so many jobs around the world and so many people canceling flights or even flights that were cancel due to this vírus that we really hope that we can all recover this some how.
I would like to finish, with a word of hope, that this crisis goes away quickly, so OGKK Europe will try to plan a seminar next September and make the Gasshuku in Portugal next year.
Many thanks to our OGKK teachers and menthors for their concern, so our toughts are with them too.
